first censorship

i decided to make this more public then i intended to at first. as a consequence i took down a few posts. will have to think about them and me and all that before i decided if i put them up again or leave them down.
afterall sometimes you realise after thinkign about things for a longer time that what you said is not what you wanted to say. with making this blog more public i think these weird ideas and random comments do not belong here anymore.
on the other hand it is a form of censorship. also i believe you shoult stand up to what you say and think even if people decided do not liek you because of what you say. soemtimes they are right for disliking you sometimes they are jsut offended because you are insensitve and behave generaly in a rude way which makes them upset.
in a few cases feeligns get hurt. ill put it down as a learning expieriance and apply what ever i come up with as solution to thsi diellema to futur posts

well afterall you who read this have known me for quite a while and should understand me. oh and i am working on a health&safety warning for my blogs and to go on a t shirt, to perhaps decrease the numbe rof people offended by what i say because I dont express clearly enough what i intend to say and for all of my typed content a excuse for the poor spelling...,]]]

so you never ever want to search for things again?

how cool would it be to have device that tells you what to put in your bag when you leave for work and even tells you where to look for said things. even reminds you to take this-fancy-new-gadget-to-be-shown-to-friends-in-the-pub. how does it know that you will not be back between work and the pub? you never go back thats why.
imagine a PDA like device, it knows when you have to be where, it has GPRS and GPS built into it and a RFID tag reader. With a little bit of training it will know what you take to work everyday and will notice that you always take your newest gadget to show it to your friends in the pub. it could monitor your mobile phone batts and tell you to take the charging device to the office as you will have to leave for the airport straight after.
How would it work? you enter your dates and todo lists as you do at the moment and also you attach a list of stuff to take to every "event". After a few days the software coudl start "guessing" these lists based on what you take to similiar "events". easy ones would be going to the gym or to office. slightly harder ones would involve a list of clothes et al to take on a 2 day trip to a customer.
Perhaps using RFID is not the best way to track your items. there is no way of knowing where the item realy is, the rfid reader can only tell if it is close enough so you would end up with a sphere in which the item has to be. easily improve it by telling the device the location of walls, track them while moving around and so deleting points in the sphere. just imagine yourself with a sphere of radius 2m around you moving around in a room. items would be visible from different places in the room but can only be in regions where all the spheres intersect or it has moved which would completly mess everything up. still knowing that an item is in this room is a great thign to know when trying to find something. so something as easy and cheap and small as a RFID tag which can be located from the reader woudl be ideal.
You probably do not want to do all this computing and database keeping on the PDA like thing, itll just use up batteries and stuff. this is where GPRS comes into play. use it to tell a "server" about the events entered and where you are and which items you can see. he will have enough cycles and no power problems to do all the maths for you.
A central server would also make it much harder to loose your database. It is much easier to backup a normal PC then makeing sure you do not loose your PDA or have it stolen.

view SVG in flash?

does someone know if it is possible to take a SVG and feed it into flash and use flash to display? there are more flash players around then SVG plugins. It would also be a nice way of reusing GUIs in multiple flash films or even generating them on the fly outside of flash, sending them around via the builtin XML socket. Or does flash have something like that builtin? useing the drawAPI seems a bit clumsy to me

men&woman

little thought experiment:
male A is going out with female B. Nothing to serious, no kids, no semi-detached house(yet), perhaps they share a flat, who knows. Extension, they are married, does this actually make a difference? Now B meets male C. Male C is a stereotype single male, good at hsi job, loves it, has a "empty" flat with interior from habitat. They get intrested in each other. He knows about A and the relationship between A and B. Can someone think of a reason why C should feel constrained to say No! to B if things that are considered cheating are going to happen? If both of them are not drunk or A and B just had a fight. Should not B be the one to decided?
The obvious answere people are giving is stuff like

Its not fair!
Would you want to be A?
It is something you do not do!
Moral!

I can think of a load of reasons why C should say no but thats something completly different. There is a load of stuff you can talk about in this problem but I am just interested in an answere to this particiular problem. Not what happens afterwards or anythign like that
Thank you for using soem brain cycles to think about it
